REPORT

Examination:

·         Ultrasonography of the thyroid gland.

Findings:

-          The study revealed enlargement of both lobes and isthmus of the thyroid gland with diffuse nonhomogenous echotexture and  increased vascularity. A hyperechoic nodular  lesion without cystic components noted in the lower part of right lobe measuring approx; 1.6X 1.1 cm in size. No areas calcification noted. No obvious calcifications noted in the parenchyma. Doppler study show increased vascularity of the gland.

-          Apparently normal caliber and contour of the trachea.

-          Normal vascular bundles in both sides of the neck.

CONCLUSION:

·         Diffuse enlargement of the gland with altered nonhomogenous            echotexture and increased vascularity. ? Toxic thyroiditis. To be           correlated with thyroid function tests.

·         Hyperechoic nodule in the right lobe of thyroid gland.

REPORT

-         The testicles are showing normal shape and echopattern as well as normal vascularity, with normal size.

-         Normal sonographic features of both epidydymis.

-         No abnormal scrotal mass lesions seen.

-         No abnormal fluid collections seen.

-         Normal vascular pattern of the scrotum

-         Dilatation and tortousity of the spermatic veins noted on left side.(3mm).

CONCLUSION:

·        Grade I Varicocoele- left side.

-         No evidence of varicocele on both sides.

CONCLUSION:

·        Normal U/S study of Scrotum.
