REPORT

-         Both  testicles are  showing normal shape and echopattern as well as normal vascularity, with normal size..No mass lesions or calcifications in the parenchyma.

-         There is increase in size and vascularity of right epididymis with diffuse heterogenous echotexture suggestive of inflammatory changes. No abscess formation noted in relation to epididymis.

-         Normal sonographic features of  left epidydymis.

-         No abnormal scrotal mass lesions seen.

-         No abnormal fluid collections seen.

-         No evidence of varicocele on both sides.

CONCLUSION:

·        Increase in size and vascularity of right epididymis with diffuse heterogenous echotexture suggestive of  epididymitis.

REPORT

-         Both  testicles are  showing normal shape and echopattern as well as normal vascularity, with normal size..No mass lesions or calcifications in the parenchyma.

-         There is a mixed echogenic mass  lesion below the  lower pole of right  testis in relation to the tail of epididymis measuring approx; 2.7X1.4 cm in size and showing increased vascularity on doppler study. Multiple areas small specks of calcification noted within this mass. No cystic degeneration noted.

-         No abnormal fluid collections seen.

-         No varicocoele on both sides.

CONCLUSION:

·        Mixed echogenic lesion below the  lower pole of right  testis in relation to the tail of epididymis. ?Chronic epididymitis. However the possibility of a tumour cannot be completely ruled out. Suggested histopathological correlation.

REPORT

-          The liver show normal size and echotexture. No focal  hepatic lesions could be identified, normal caliber of the portal vein, CBD and hepatic veins, no intrahepatic biliary dilatation seen.

-          The gall bladder is showing normal wall thickness, clear anechoic lumen,  no stones nor biliary mud could be seen.

-          Pancreas appeared normal in size and shape. No focal lesions seen

-          Normal size, site and echopattern of the kidneys, no stones could be seen. Intact cortico-medullary ratio. No hydronephrosis. Ureters- not dilated.

-          Normal sonographic criteria of the spleen. No ascites is seen.

-          The sigmoid colon is diffusely thickened with increased echogenicity of pericolonic fat suggestive of inflammatory changes.

-          Urinary bladder Normal.

OPINION:

·         Diffusely thickened sigmoid colon with increased echogenicity of pericolonic fat suggestive of inflammatory changes consistent with diverticulitis. Compared with previous investigations no significant change in findings noted.
