-          The liver is showing normal size, shape and echopattern. No hepatic lesions could be identified, normal caliber of the portal vein, CBD and hepatic veins, no intrahepatic biliary dilatation seen.

-          The gall bladder is showing a calculus which measures 15 mm in size. No wall thickening or pericholecystic fluid collection.

-          Pancreas is normal..Normal sonographic criteria of the spleen.

-          No ascites is seen. Both kidneys are small  in size with increase in cortical echogenicity and loss of cortico-medullary differentiation. , no definite stones could be seen, nor hydronephrosis..No focal parenchymal lesions noted.  Ureters- Not dilated.

-         Bladder-Normal. No pelvic mass lesions noted.

CONCLUSION:

·         Gall bladder calculus.

·         Bilateral  small kidneys with increase in cortical echogenicity and loss of cortico-medullary differentiation.   ? Renal parenchymal disease.

-          The liver is showing mild enlargement in size, normal shape and echopattern. No hepatic lesions could be identified, normal caliber of the portal vein, CBD and hepatic veins, no intrahepatic biliary dilatation seen.

-          The gall bladder not seen- H/O cholecystectomy.

-          Pancreas appeared normal in size and shape. No focal lesions seen.

-          Normal sonographic criteria of the spleen. No ascites is seen.

-          Both kidneys are normal in size with increase in cortical echogenicity and loss of cortico-medullary differentiation. , no definite stones could be seen, nor hydronephrosis..No focal parenchymal lesions noted.  Ureters- Not dilated.

-          Bladder- Shows a small polypoid area of mucosal thickening in the posterior wall on right side measuring 8X8 mm in size. Rest of the wall and lumen normal.

-         Prostate- Enlarged in size(46 gm). Normal in echotexture.

CONCLUSION:

·         Bilateral  renal parenchymal disease

·         Prostatomegaly

·         Small area of polypoid thickening  in the bladder wall. Suggested cystoscopic correlation.

DUPPLEX DOPPLER U/S OF THE ARTERIAL  SYSTEM OF BOTH  LOWER LIMBS, REVEALED:

-         There is diffuse wall thickening of the whole of the arterial system of the right lower limb with area of stenotic segment in the distal SFA (61%). There is  biphasic flow in the major vessels with resistive index of 1. No evidence of complete occlusion noted.  There is low resistance distal flow to the distal vessels.

-         Evidence of femoro-popliteal bypass graft noted on left side with normal flow in the graft. No evidence of occlusion of the graft noted.  There is mild diffuse wall thickening of tibial and dorsalis pedis arteries with biphasic flow pattern. There is low resistance distal flow to the distal vessels.

CONCLUSION:

·        Diffuse arterial wall thickening suggestive of atherosclerotic changes.

·        Stenotic segment in the right distal SFA.(61%).

  • Functioning left femoro popliteal bypass graft.

Study

Duplex Doppler sonography of the carotid system bilaterally

USG Study No.

                                                US13US13

REPORT

-         The study revealed patent common-internal carotid axes bilaterally with no evidence atheromatous plaques. Mild diffuse intimal thickening noted. No areas of significant narrowing or occlusion noted. No areas of intimal calcifications noted.

-         The hemodynamic set-ups of peak systolic and diastolic velocities as well as Doppler spectral frequencies are within the normal limits. Also RI are within normal range.

CONCLUSION:

·        Mild diffuse intimal thickening of extracranial carotid arteries bilaterally suggestive of  early atherosclerotic changes.
