REPORT

 

-          The liver is showing mild enlargement, normal in shape and echopattern. There is distension of hepatic veins and IVC suggestive of congestive nature. No hepatic lesions could be identified, normal caliber of the portal vein, CBD  no intrahepatic biliary dilatation seen.

-          The gall bladder   Not seen.(H/O Cholecystectomy)

-          Pancreas appeared normal in size and shape. No focal lesions seen

-         Spleen normal in  size and echotexture.

-          Normal size, site, and shape of the kidneys, with normal echopattern, no definite stones could be seen, nor hydronephrosis. Intact cortico-medullary ratio. There is a cystic lesion in the mid medial aspect of right kidney measuring 2.3X2.3 cm in size. No internal echoes or septations  noted within this cyst.   Ureters-Not dilated..

-          Urinary bladder- Empty.

OPINION:

·         Mild Hepatomegaly. ?Congestive.

·         Right renal parenchymal cyst.

REPORT

 

-          The liver is showing normal size, shape and echopattern. No hepatic lesions could be identified, normal caliber of the portal vein, CBD and hepatic veins, no intrahepatic biliary dilatation seen.

-          The gall bladder show small  calculi in the lumen the largest of which measuring 5 mm in size. No wall thickening or pericholecystic collection.

-          Pancreas appeared normal in size and shape. No focal lesions seen

-          Normal size, site and echopattern of the kidneys, no stones could be seen. Intact cortico-medullary ratio. No hydronephrosis or focal parenchymal lesion.

-          Normal sonographic criteria of the spleen. No ascites is seen.

-          Urinary bladder- Normal.

-          Prostate- Enlarged in size.(49 gm). Appears normal in echotexture.

OPINION:

·         Prostatomegaly. ?BPH.

·         Small Gall bladder calculi.

·         No evidence of cholecystitis or biliary obstruction noted..

-                The gall bladder is distended, shows normal wall thickness, with no stones nor mud inside.

-                Pancreas appeared normal in size and shape. No focal lesions seen.

-                Normal size, site, shape and echopattern of the kidneys, no definite stones could be seen, nor hydronephrosis. Intact cortico-medullary ratio.

-                Normal sonographic criteria of the spleen.No free abdominal fluid seen.

-                Ureters not dilated.  Urinary bladder- Normal.

-                There is a cystic lesion in the right ovary measuring 2.5X2.3 cm in size. No internal echoes or septations in this cyst. Left ovary normal in morphology.

-                The uterus is showing normal size with normal shape, AVF, non gravid, normal endometrial thickness, closed internal Os. No definite focal uterine masses could be identified. No intrauterine contents are noted.

-                No free fluid in POD region.

OPINION:

·   Small cystic lesion in the right ovary. ? Follicular cyst.

-          Pancreas appeared normal in size and shape. No focal lesions seen

-          Spleen normal in  size and echotexture.

-          Left  kidney is small with lobulated contours. (Rt- 10.7X5.5 cm, Lt-6.8X4.2 cm) Normal size, site and echopattern of the right kidney, no stones could be seen. Intact cortico-medullary ratio. No hydronephrosis. No focal parenchymal lesion.

-          Ureters- Not dilated.  Minimal  ascites is seen with fluid in the pelvis.

-          Urinary bladder- Normal.

OPINION:

·         Small left kidney. ?Cause.

·         Minimal ascites.

·         Hepatomegaly. ?Congestive.
