   ·   A single viable intra-uterine pregnancy  with no gross congenital anomalies could be seen, active fetal movement, regular visible heart beats, normal muscle tone and visible respiratory movements seen, denoting viability and well being of the fetus.

   ·   Longtudinal lie, breech  presentation at the time of examination.

   ·   Normal amount of clear liquor is seen.

   ·   Fetal age is about 26 weeks according to AC,FL and BPD, EDD is about 10/07/07 + two weeks.

   ·   Placenta is anterior, more towards left, grade II, is in upper segment.

-         Normal sonographic features of the breast parenchyma.  No thickened retroareolar disc or abnormal hypertrophy of glandular tissue noted. No evidence of focal solid or cystic lesion seen. No dilatation of ductal structures seen. No calcification noted. The visualized retromammary and sub-cutaneous tissue appears normal.

 

CONCLUSION:

 

 

·        Unremarkable U/S of both breasts.

Examination:

 

·         Ultrasonography of the thyroid gland/neck.

Findings:

 

-          The study revealed mild diffuse enlargement of both lobes of the thyroid gland with coarse echotexture and multiple predominantly hyperechoic nodular  lesions with cystic components more involving the left lobe the largest of which in the inferior aspect of left lobe measuring approx; 2.3X 1.6 cm in size. Other small nodules noted in the superior aspect of both lobes. Isthmus normal. Doppler study show mild increased vascularity of the gland.

-          Apparently normal caliber and contour of the trachea.

-          Normal vascular bundles in both sides of the neck.

 

CONCLUSION:

 

·         Diffusely coarsened echotexture with nodules  with areas of early cystic degeneration in both lobes of thyroid gland. ?Chronic thyroiditis with multinodularity. Suggested histopathological correlation.

REPORT

 

-          The liver is showing normal size, shape and echopattern. No hepatic lesions could be identified, normal caliber of the portal vein, CBD and hepatic veins, no intrahepatic biliary dilatation seen.

-          The gall bladder show a calculus in the lumen in the neck region which is measuring 14 mm in size. The lumen is filled with echogenic solid material which show no evidence of calcification. No wall thickening or pericholecystic collection.

-          Pancreas appeared normal in size and shape. No focal lesions seen

-          Normal size, site and echopattern of the kidneys, no stones could be seen. Intact cortico-medullary ratio. No hydronephrosis. Ureters- Not dilated.

-          Normal sonographic criteria of the spleen. No ascites is seen.

-          Urinary bladder- Empty.

OPINION:

·         Gall bladder calculus.

·         Echogenic solid material filling the gall bladder lumen. ?Empyema of gall bladder. ? G.B.Mass. Suggested further evaluation.
