REPORT

 

-          The liver is showing normal size, shape and echopattern. No hepatic lesions could be identified, normal caliber of the portal vein, CBD and hepatic veins, no intrahepatic biliary dilatation seen.

-          The gall bladder lumen show a calculus with acoustic shadowing  which is measuring 9mm in size. There is wall thickening(5 mm) with positive sonographic murphys sign. No pericholecystic fluid collection. No dilatation of CBD seen.

-          Pancreas appeared normal in size and shape. No focal lesions seen

-          Normal size, site and echopattern of the kidneys, no stones could be seen. Intact cortico-medullary ratio. No hydronephrosis.

-          Normal sonographic criteria of the spleen.

-          No ascites is seen.

-          Urinary bladder- Empty.

 

OPINION:

 

·         Calculous Cholecystitis..
