REPORT

-          The liver is showing normal size, shape and echopattern. No hepatic lesions could be identified, normal caliber of the portal vein, CBD and hepatic veins, no intrahepatic biliary dilatation seen.

-          The gall bladder Normal in wall thickness and lumen. No calculi noted..

-          Pancreas appeared normal in size and shape. No focal lesions seen

-          Spleen normal in size and echotexture.

-          Kidneys appears normal.Ureters- Not dilated.

-           No ascites is seen.

-          Urinary bladder- Empty.

-          Bilateral pleural effusion noted.

OPINION:

·         Bilateral pleural effusion..

-          Portable  ultrasound study of abdomen show bilateral renal parenchymal disease with multiple small renal cysts. Prostate is enlarged in size. No free fluid in abdomen. Liver and G.B. grossly normal. Bladder is empty.

-          Pancreas appeared normal in size and shape. No focal lesions seen

-          Normal size, site and echopattern of the kidneys, no stones could be seen. Intact cortico-medullary ratio. No hydronephrosis. Ureters- Not dilated.

-          Normal sonographic criteria of the spleen.

-          No ascites is seen.

-          Defect in the anterior abdominal wall seen in the paraumbilical region with herniation of extraperitoneal fat.

-          Urinary bladder-  Normal.

OPINION:

·         Paraumbilical hernia.
