U/S OF KUB&ABDOMEN
- The liver is showing normal size, shape and echopattern. No hepatic lesions could be identified, normal caliber of the portal vein, CBD and hepatic veins, no intrahepatic biliary dilatation seen.The gall bladder is showing normal wall thickness, clear anechoic lumen, no stones nor biliary mud could be seen. Pancreas appeared normal in size and shape. No focal lesions seen. Normal sonographic criteria of the spleen. No ascites is seen.
- Normal size, site, and shape of the kidneys, with normal echopattern, no definite stones could be seen, There is minimal dilatation of pelviclyceal system and upper ureter on right side. Lower ureter not visualized due to interference from bowel gas. Intact cortico-medullary ratio.No focal parenchymal lesions noted.
- Normal wall thickness of the urinary bladder. A calculus noted in the lumen which show postural variation in position and measures 21 mm in size.
- Prostate- Enlarged in size.(36 gm). Normal in echotexture.
CONCLUSION:
· Minimal prominence of pelvicalyceal system and upper ureter on right side. ?Cause.
· Vesical calculus.
· Prostatomegaly. ?BPH.
