Name of the Patient : Abc Xyzata Mlmn / F / 63 yrs.
Referred by : Dr. Abc Xyzndu.
Examination : M.R.I. of the Brain.
CLINICAL PROFILE :
Known C/O CLL.
C/O vomiting, giddiness and diplopia since 4.00 A.M. of 00.00.0000.
M.R.I of the brain was performed using the following parameters :
5 mm thick T1 Weighted, proton and T2 Weighted axial images.
5 mm thick FLAIR and Fast Scan (T2 *) coronal images.
There is an ill-defined hyperintense signal, best appreciated on the FLAIR images in the right frontal periventricular white matter and which most likely represents ischemic changes.
There is mild fullness of both the lateral ventricles. The third and the fourth ventricles are normal. The basal cisternal spaces are unremarkable. There is slight prominence of the cerebral cortical sulci bilaterally. There is no shift of the midline structures. No obvious vascular anomaly is identified on this study.
There is no obvious evidence of haemorrhage on this study.
Altered signal in the right frontal periventricular white matter, is most likely ischemic in etiology.
No other significant abnormality is detected on this study.
