Name of the Patient : Abc Xyzla Khlmn / F / 5 yrs.
Referred by : Dr. Abc Xyzshi.
Examination : Neck and Abdominal M.R.A.

CLINICAL PROFILE :

C/O aortoarteritis.

EXAMINATION :

Neck and abdominal MRA were performed with 3D TOF and 2D TOF sequences, respectively.

OBSERVATION :

NECK AND ABDOMINAL MRA :

There is non-viusalization of the left common carotid artery just distal to its origin from the aortic arch.

The abdominal aorta below the level of the diaphragm is not visualized upto the level of the renal arteries.

The brachiocephalic aorta is probably arising from the right subclavian artery. The visualized subclavian arteries appear narrow and ill-defined.

The rest of the visualized vessels of the neck are unremarkable.

IMPRESSION :

In a known C/O aortoarteritis, the MRA features are suggestive of
non-viusalization of the left common carotid artery just distal to its origin from the aortic arch and non-visualization of the abdominal aorta below the level of the diaphragm upto the level of the renal arteries.
