Name of the Patient : Abc Xyzra Chalmn / M / 29 yrs.
Referred by : Dr. Abc Xyzar.
Examination : M.R.I. of the Cervico-dorsal Spine.

CLINICAL PROFILE :

Alleged H/O vehicular accident with backache radiating to BLE.

EXAMINATION :

M.R.I of the cervico-dorsal spine was performed using the following parameters :

4 mm thick T1 Weighted and T2 Weighted sagittal images.

5 mm thick T1 Weighted and T2 Weighted axial images.

OBSERVATION :

The visualized cervico-dorsal intervertebral discs (except at the C7-D1 level) show loss of water content.

A small postero-central disc herniation is seen to indent the thecal sac at the C6-C7 level.

The visualized cervico-dorsal spinal cord and vertebral bodies show normal signal intensity.

The facet joints and the visualized pre and paravertebral soft tissues are unremarkable.

IMPRESSION :

The MRI features are suggestive of a small postero-central disc herniation at the C6-C7 level.
