Name of the Patient : Abc Xyzh lmn / M / 26 yrs.
Referred by : Dr. Abc Xyzisheri.
Examination : M.R.I. of the Dorso-lumbar Spine.
CLINICAL PROFILE :
H/O medical renal disease.
H/O fever.
H/O acute retention of urine (one episode) to R/O mychtis.
EXAMINATION :
M.R.I. of the dorso-lumbar spine was performed using the following parameters :
4 mm thick T1 Weighted and T2 Weighted sagittal images.
5 mm thick T1 Weighted and T2 Weighted axial images.
OBSERVATION :
The visualized dorso-lumbar vertebral bodies and intervertebral discs reveal normal signal intensity. The facet joints and the visualized pre and paravertebral soft tissues are unremarkable.
The visualized lower dorsal spinal cord reveals normal signal intensity. There is no cord compression.
The conus medullaris terminates at the L1-L2 level.
The lumbar spine was screened with T2 Weighted sagittal images and is unremarkable. The intrathecal nerve roots appear clumped in the lumbar region. If clinically indicated a detailed study, if necessary with contrast would worthwhile.
IMPRESSION :
No abnormality detected within the dorso-lumbar spine on this study.
