Examination : M.R.I. of the Right Upper Tibia.
CLINICAL PROFILE :
C/O pain and swelling since 4-5 months.

M.R.I. of the right upper tibia was performed using the following parameters :
5 mm thick T1 Weighted and T2 Weighted (with fat saturation) axial images.
5 mm thick T1 Weighted and STIR sagittal images.
5 mm thick T1 Weighted and Gradient coronal (with fat saturation) images.
Vitamin E capsules were placed at the site of tenderness.
OBSERVATION :
There is seen slight prominence of the tibial tubercle with periosteal elevation at the site of insertion of the patellar tendon with slight sclerosis. No obvious bone destruction is noted in this region.
The rest of the visualized right tibia and the fibula show normal signal intensity. The visualized right knee joint and the right tibio-fibular joint are normal. The visualized soft tissues are unremarkable.
The lower leg was screened with 4 mm thick T1 Weighted sagittal images which does not reveal any diagnostic feature of note.
