Name of the Patient : Abc XyzSakhalmn / M / 55 yrs.
Referred by : Dr. Abc Xyzrani.
Examination : M.R.I. of the Cervical Spine.
CLINICAL PROFILE :
C/O weakness of the LUE on 00.00.0000 from which patient has recovered.
EXAMINATION :
M.R.I of the cervical spine was performed using the following parameters :
4 mm thick T1 Weighted and T2 Weighted sagittal images.
5 mm thick T1 Weighted and Fast Scan (T2 *) axial images.
FEW IMAGES SHOW PATIENT MOTION.
OBSERVATION :
There is loss of normal cervical lordosis and loss of water content of the cervical intervertebral discs. Posterior disc bulges with posterior peridiscal osteophytes are noted over the C3-C4 to C6-C7 levels with bilateral neural foraminal narrowing.
Degenerative changes of the joints of Luschka are noted over the C3-C4 and C4-C5 levels bilaterally, at the C5-C6 level on the right and at the C6-C7 level on the left. Hypertrophic facetal arthropathy is noted at the C5-C6 level bilaterally and at the C3-C4 and C4-C5 levels on the left.
Ligamentum flavum hypertrophy is noted at the C6-C7 level.
Scan-00001
There is slight anterior wedging of the C5 and C6 vertebral bodies. The cervical vertebral bodies show spotty fatty marrow changes. A degenerative cyst is noted in the C6 vertebral body, to the left of the midline and posteriorly.
The visualized pre and paravertebral soft tissues are unremarkable.
The cervical spinal cord reveals normal signal intensity.
The atlanto-axial region and the cervico-medullary junction are unremarkable.
IMPRESSION :
1. Posterior disc bulges with posterior peridiscal osteophytes over the C3-C4 to C6-C7 levels with bilateral neural foraminal narrowing.
2. Degenerative changes of the joints of Luschka at the C3-C4 and C4-C5 levels bilaterally, at the C5-C6 level on the right and at the C6-C7 level on the left.
3. Hypertrophic facetal arthropathy at the C5-C6 level bilaterally and at the C3-C4 and C4-C5 levels on the left.
4. Slight anterior wedging of the C5 and C6 vertebral bodies (? the sequelae of previous trauma).
