Name of the Patient : Abc Xyzkar Poilmn / M / 38 yrs.
Referred by : Dr. Abc Xyzah.
Examination : M.R.I. of the Cervical Spine.
CLINICAL PROFILE :
C/O giddiness, gait imbalance and tingling in BUE and BLE since 6 months.
EXAMINATION :
M.R.I of the cervical spine was performed using the following parameters :
4 mm thick T1 Weighted and T2 Weighted sagittal images.
5 mm thick T1 Weighted and Fast Scan (T2 *) axial images.
SOME IMAGES SHOW PATIENT MOTION.
OBSERVATION :
A postero-central disc herniation with peridiscal osteophytes is seen to indent the thecal sac at the C5-C6 level.
There are small postero-central disc herniations with peridiscal osteophytes at the C3-C4, C4-C5 and C6-C7 levels with anterior indentation of the thecal sac.
Mild ligamentum flavum hypertrophy is noted at the C5-C6 and C6-C7 levels.
The cervical intervertebral discs show loss of water content.
Fatty changes are noted in the cervical vertebral bodies.

The joints of Luschka and the visualized pre and paravertebral soft tissues are unremarkable.
The cervical spinal cord reveals normal signal intensity.
The atlanto-axial region and the cervico-medullary junction are unremarkable.
IMPRESSION :
The MRI features are suggestive :
1. A postero-central disc herniation with peridiscal osteophytes at the C5-C6 level.
2. Small postero-central disc herniations with peridiscal osteophytes at the C3-C4, C4-C5 and C6-C7 levels.
3. Mild ligamentum flavum hypertrophy at the C5-C6 and C6-C7 levels.
