Examination : M.R.I. of the Dorsal Spine.
CLINICAL PROFILE :
H/O tuberculous spine (D5-D11). Completed AKT 15 days back.
For follow-up.
EXAMINATION :
M.R.I of the dorsal spine was performed using the following parameters :
4 mm thick T1 Weighted and T2 Weighted sagittal images.
5 mm thick T1 Weighted and T2 Weighted axial images.
OBSERVATION :
Few dorsal intervertebral discs show loss of water content and appear reduced in height.
The visualized dorsal vertebral bodies and the remaining intervertebral discs reveal normal signal intensity. The facet joints and the visualized pre and paravertebral soft tissues are unremarkable.
The visualized dorsal spinal cord reveals normal signal intensity.
The conus medullaris terminates at the L1 level.
IMPRESSION :
Normal study of the Dorsal Spine.
As compared to the previous MRI dated 00.00.00, (scan 0000), there is near complete resolution of the previously identified granulomatous lesions.
