Name of the Patient : Abc Xyza Kalmn / M / 59 yrs.
Referred by : Dr. Abc Xyzetty.
Examination : M.R.I. of the Dorsal Spine.

CLINICAL PROFILE :

C/O weakness of BLE.

EXAMINATION :

M.R.I of the dorsal spine was performed using the following parameters :

4 mm thick T1 Weighted and T2 Weighted sagittal images.

5 mm thick T1 Weighted and T2 Weighted axial images.

OBSERVATION :

The visualized dorsal intervertebral discs show loss of water content. The visualized dorsal vertebral bodies show areas of fatty replacement of normal marrow.

The facet joints and the visualized pre and paravertebral soft tissues are unremarkable.

The visualized dorsal spinal cord reveals normal signal intensity.

The cervical spine was screened with 4 mm thick T2 Weighted sagittal images. Posteriorly bulging discs with peridiscal osteophytes are noted at the C3-C4, C4-C5 and C5-C6 levels.

IMPRESSION :

1. No significant abnormality is detected within the dorsal spine on this study.

2. Posteriorly bulging discs with peridiscal osteophytes at the C3-C4, C4-C5 and C5-C6 levels.
