Name of the Patient : Abc Xyz lmn / F / 59 yrs.
Referred by : Dr. Abc Xyzoshi.
Examination : M.R.I. of the Cervical Spine.
CLINICAL PROFILE :
C/O neckpain with pain radiating to BUE with paresthesias.
EXAMINATION :
M.R.I of the cervical spine was performed using the following parameters :
4 mm thick T1 Weighted and T2 Weighted sagittal images.
5 mm thick T1 Weighted and Fast Scan (T2 *) axial images.
OBSERVATION :
There is reversal of normal cervical curvature.
The cervical interverteral discs show loss of water content.
There are posterior disc herniations with peridiscal osteophytes at the C3-C4, C4-C5, C5-C6 and C6-C7 levels with anterior indentation of the thecal sac.
The C3-C4 facet joint on the left side, C4-C5, C5-C6 and C6-C7 facet joints on the right side show hypertrophic degenerative changes.
The cervical vertebral bodies show normal signal intensity. The joints of Luschka and the visualized pre and paravertebral soft tissues are unremarkable.
The cervical spinal cord reveals normal signal intensity.
The atlanto-axial region and the cervico-medullary junction are unremarkable.

IMPRESSION :
1. Posterior disc herniations with peridiscal osteophytes at the C3-C4, C4-C5, C5-C6 and C6-C7 levels.
2. Hypertrophic facetal arthropathy at the C3-C4 level on the left side and on the right side at the C4-C5, C5-C6 and C6-C7 levels.
