A Date : 00.00.0000

Name of the Patient : Abc Xyz Siddheslmn / F / 25 yrs.
Referred by : Dr. Abc Xyzngsarkar.
Examination : M.R.I. of the S. I. Joints.

CLINICAL PROFILE :

C/O backache with radiation of pain to the RLE.

EXAMINATION :
`
M.R.I of the S. I. joints was performed using the following parameters :

5 mm thick T1 Weighted and T2 Weighted (with fat saturation) axial images.

5 mm thick T1 Weighted and STIR coronal images.

OBSERVATION :

Both the sacro-iliac joints appear normal. The iliac bones and the sacral ala show normal signal intensity. There is no bony destruction or erosion. The visualized soft tissues are unremarkable.

The visualized musculature of the pelvis appears normal.

There is evidence of a well-defined lesion having a diameter of approximately 1.7 cms and located on the right adnexal region. It is hypointense on the T1 Weighted images and turns hyperintense on the T2 Weighted images and may represent an adnexal/ovarian cyst. A smaller, ovarian cyst is also noted on the left side.

IMPRESSION :

The MRI features are suggestive of :

1. No abnormality detected within the sacro-iliac joints per se on this study.

2. Ovarian cysts, larger on the right side.
