Name of the Patient : Abc Xyzabai M. Valmn / F / 70 yrs.
Referred by : Dr. Abc Xyzalani.
Examination : M.R.I. of the Lumbo-sacral Spine.

CLINICAL PROFILE :

C/O backache with pain radiating to BLE with weakness.

EXAMINATION :

The lumbo-sacral spine was scanned with 5 mm thick T1 Weighted sagittal images.

After administration of contrast the following parameters were used :

5 mm thick T1 Weighted axial and sagittal images with fat saturation and 8 mm thick T1 Weighted axial images.

OBSERVATION :

After contrast administration there is patchy enhancement along the intrathecal nerve roots over L2 to L4 vertebral levels. No dural enhancement is noted.

Degenerative changes in the lumbo-sacral spine are as described on the previous MRI Scan (study no.00006 dated 00.00.00).

IMPRESSION :

Enhancement along the intrathecal nerve roots over L2 to L4 vertebral levels may suggest arachnoiditis, exact etiology undetermined.
