Name of the Patient : Abc Xyzk L. Plmn / M / 8 yrs.
Referred by : Dr. Abc Xyzah.
Examination : M.R.I. of the Brain - Post-contrast Study.

CLINICAL PROFILE :

C/O seizures since 1 month.
H/O laminectomy in the lumbar region with total excision of an epidermoid cyst in January 0000.

EXAMINATION :

After administration of contrast the following parameters were used :

5 mm thick T1 Weighted axial and coronal images with magnetization transfer.

5 mm thick T1 Weighted sagittal images.

OBSERVATION :

After administration of contrast, there is no focal area of abnormal enhancement in the brain parenchyma or the meninges. The lesions seen on the previous scan (Study No.00002 dated 00.00.00) may represent areas of demyelination (?? ischemia).

Screening, T1 Weighted (with fat saturation) sagittal images of the dorso-lumbar spine were also obtained after contrast administration. Evidence of laminectomy at the L1 and L2 vertebral levels is noted. No obvious abnormal intraspinal enhancing lesion is noted on this study.
