Examination : M.R.I. of the Dorsal Spine.
CLINICAL PROFILE :
C/O backache with buckling of the RLE since 2 months.
M.R.I of the dorsal spine was performed using the following parameters :
4 mm thick T1 Weighted and T2 Weighted sagittal images.
5 mm thick T1 Weighted and T2 Weighted axial images.
The visualized dorsal vertebral bodies and intervertebral discs reveal normal signal intensity. The facet joints and the visualized pre and paravertebral soft tissues are unremarkable.
The visualized dorsal spinal cord reveals normal signal intensity.
The conus medullaris terminates at the D12 level.
The lumbar spine was screened with 5 mm thick T1 Weighted sagittal images. The L5 vertebra is sacralized and is as marked on the film. No other significant abnormality is detected in the lumbar spine on this study.
No significant abnormality is detected on the screening T2 Weighted sagittal images of the cervical spine on this study.
No abnormality is detected within the dorsal spine on this study.
