Name of the Patient : Abc XyzJhalmn / M / 14 yrs.
Referred by : Dr. Abc Xyzah.
Examination : M.R.I. of the Brain.
CLINICAL PROFILE :
H/O being hit by a heavy object on the forehead on 00.00.00.
C/O headaches, diplopia with blurred vision since the morning of 00.00.00.
EXAMINATION :
M.R.I of the brain was performed using the following parameters :
5 mm thick T1 Weighted, proton and T2 Weighted axial images.
5 mm thick FLAIR and Fast Scan (T2 *) coronal images.
3.5 mm thick T1 Weighted and STIR coronal images.
5 mm thick T1 Weighted sagittal images.
OBSERVATION :
Susceptibility artifacts are noted due to dental prosthesis.
There is no focal area of altered signal intensity in the brain parenchyma.
Both the lateral, third and the fourth ventricles are normal. The basal cisternal spaces are unremarkable. There is no shift of the midline structures. No obvious vascular anomaly is identified on this study.
The visualized cavernous sinuses, orbital fissures bilaterally, optic nerves and orbits are unremarkable.
IMPRESSION :
No significant abnomality is detected on this study.
