Examination : M.R.I. of the Cervical Spine.
CLINICAL PROFILE :
C/O mild neck pain with tremors in the LUE.
EXAMINATION :
M.R.I of the cervical spine was performed using the following parameters :
4 mm thick T1 Weighted and T2 Weighted sagittal images.
5 mm thick T1 Weighted and Fast Scan (T2 *) axial images.
OBSERVATION :
A postero-central disc protrusion is seen at the C7-D1 level.
There are small posterior disc bulges at the C3-C4, C4-C5, C5-C6 and C6-C7 levels with mild anterior indentation of the thecal sac.
The lower cervical intervertebral discs show loss of water content.
The cervical vertebral bodies and the remaining intervertebral discs show normal signal intensity. The joints of Luschka and the visualized pre and paravertebral soft tissues are unremarkable.
The cervical spinal cord reveals normal signal intensity.
There appears to be an os odontoideum of the C2 vertebra.

IMPRESSION :
1. A postero-central disc protrusion at the C7-D1 level.
2. Small posterior disc bulges at the C3-C4, C4-C5, C5-C6 and C6-C7 levels.
