FOR DOCTORS:

You can use this app to:

  1. Send notifications, messages, photos/images (including x-rays), prescriptions, reports etc. to your registered patients. Keep patient records/clinical details in your mobile - available anytime and anywhere. Stay connected with your patients by regularly sending them preventive health information, offers, discounts, free camps etc.

  2. Receive messages from registered patients (only if you allow). You can allow your patients to send messages, feedback, previous prescriptions, reports, photos/images (including x-rays) etc.

  3. Schedule patient appointments manually without disturbing yourself and without any chaos of the phone calls! It will be done by your staff from her/his mobile phone. You just have to ask your staff to download the app in her/his mobile and enter the code given by you. It's very simple!

Most important thing of note is that all this is 100% free of cost to you and your patients. No messaging costs. Only internet data will be used.

Your mobile number is not revealed to anyone giving you complete safety.

You can use this app to:

CLINIC/HOSPITAL TOKEN MANAGEMENT SYSTEM:

A state of the art token management system will be integrated into the App within 1 month. Doctor's staff will manage this system. It will send SMS and/or App Notification reminders at preset time intervals before the actual appointment time. It will have the ability to prepone or postpone the appointment time depending on the actual patient load.

 

ELECTRONIC MEDICAL RECORDS (EMR):

A full featured EMR for securely and permanently keeping patient records will be integrated into the App within a year. This will again be available to both Doctors and Patients/Guardians 100% free of cost.

 

HELP & HOW TO?



FOR DOCTORS:

After downloading the app, create one or more patient groups as per your need (For example - A pediatrician can create groups like 2016, 2015, 2014 etc. and add patients born in that year to the corresponding group. A gynecologist/obstetrician can create groups like 1st trimester, 2nd trimester and 3rd trimester).

After creating a group, give the automatically generated group code to respective patients/guardians through your staff. You can display it in your reception area. Also, you can send SMS to the mobile numbers of your patients informing them about the App and your groups in the App. The patients/guardians will then download the App and get connected to you by adding the group code.

You can send messages, notifications and photos/images to all patients in all groups or to all patients in one particular group or to an individual patient.

You can view appointment messages replied to by your staff in the "Staff" section of the App.

You can ask your patients to add group code given by you (you can find it in the manage groups section) for connecting them with staff.

FOR STAFF:

After downloading the App, the staff needs to login using login information given by his/her doctor (which can be obtained by the doctor from the settings section of the App). Staff can only reply to patient's appointment related messages.

FOR PATIENTS:

The patient or the guardian has to enter the code given by his/her doctor to get connected with the doctor and his/her staff.

After entering the appointment code given by the doctor, the patient/guardian can send the appointment seeking message to his/her staff.

Patient can also send messages to the doctor, only if allowed by the doctor.

Patient may receive regular updates regarding important health information from the doctor (for example: if there is a flu epidemic or increased number of cases of a particular infectious disease in your area, then the doctor may decide to send you preventive health information).

What is MDMANAGER?

In short, MD Manager is a patient-doctor and patient-staff communication app using which doctors can send notifications/health education material to patients and the patients can communicate with the doctors for their queries and to take appointments.
 
How to Register?
A: Download MDManager from Google Play Store or go to MD Manager website (medmantra.com/mdm) Click on "Sign Up". Select the role named "I am a Doctor". Fill in the registration form. Your MD Manager account would be ready to use.
 
Who can register and login from web?
A: Doctors and patients can register from web, and doctors, staff and patients can login from web.
 
How to Login?
A: Open the MDManager App on your Android phone or go to MDManager website. Login to your MDManager account by entering your registered phone number in the Phone No field and the password in the Password field.
 
How is this App useful to me?
A:
You can use this app to:

How does MDMANAGER work?
A:
a. An account is created when you register and login to the MDMANAGER App or Web. You get an admin dashboard where you can keep track of groups, staff, patients/guardians and all messages.
b. A separate account is automatically created for your staff. You can ask your staff to download the app. The default login email address of your staff is staff_Email-Of-Doctor. For example if your (doctor's) email address is dr.abc@gmail.com, your staff's default login email address will be staff_dr.abc@gmail.com. Staff needs to enter this email (staff_dr.abc@gmail.com) address in the login screen (App/Web) in the login field named "Phone No". Password for the staff can be created by the doctor in the "Settings" page in the doctor's dashboard - Click "Change Staff Password" - Enter password of your choice - Reconfirm - Done! This password can be entered by the staff to login. You can change the staff password anytime.
c. A doctor can create any number of groups as per his/her requirements, by going to the "Add Group" page.
d. After adding a new group, the doctor can see the joining code specific for that group in the "Groups" page.
e. Doctor can then ask his patients to download the MD Manager app from playstore - click "Join Group" on successful registration - add group code (given to the patients by doctor's staff as per the group in which the doctor wants to add the patient) - That's it!
f. Staff can reply to the patient's appointment messages by giving them appointments (time or token based as selected by the doctor from the "Settings" page).
g. After successfully giving appointment to a patient - The doctor and the staff can see the appointments list in their respective accounts. First page of appointments list shows today's appointments. If you cannot see anything on that page, then it means there are no appointments for today. Tomorrow's appointments can be seen after clicking more appointments on the same page at the bottom. To see still more appointments you can select a date range and press enter.
h. To send message to a group - go to "Send Message" - select group - tick on the group name seen below to visualise all the groups created by you - select the group to which you want to send a message to - type message and then press send.
i. To send message to an individual patient - go to "Send Message" - Click "Patient" - Type first name - Select patient - Type message and then press "Send".
 
What are the advantages of using MDMANAGER?
A: MDManager is a FREE to use mobile app to facilitate communication between a DOCTOR and his/her PATIENTS/guardians.
a. Patients cannot see doctor's mobile number. Unlike WhatsApp, they won't come to know who else is in the group created by the doctor and cannot send messages to the group.

How to invite Patients/Guardians on MDManager?

How is it better than a website?
A: It is a super value addition to you posting things on your website. You can never be sure of what time patients/guardians log into website and read something that you posted. You cannot be sure if they actually received what you wanted when it was needed or not. MDManager is instant, real-time and right in the hands and pockets of patients/guardians.
 
What about Patients/Guardians who do not download?
A: Once you start sending out communication actively, those who are left out eventually do join in as no patient/guardian wants to miss out on something that others are receiving.
 
What if Staff Member or Patients/Guardians are non tech savvy?
A: Most staff members or patients/guardians would be WhatsApp users. Our app is as simple so that’s not a problem. What are its advantages over SMS?
A: While SMS costs you money, MD Manager is free. On SMS you can send just 160 characters of text and not pictures/image files etc. when needed.
 
How is it better than WhatsApp?
A: On WhatsApp everyone can see each other’s numbers and there is no data security. As a Doctor you have to manage many groups. WhatsApp Admin doesn’t know what’s happening in those groups. How to contact a doctor and take an appointment?
A: To contact a doctor or to take an appointment you need to first join the doctor's group after logging in.
Ask your doctor for the group code to be entered. After entering the group code given by the doctor, the patient/guardian can send an appointment seeking message to his/her staff.
If you want to take an appointment, go to send message - select appointment - type name of the patient who wants an appointment, preferred date, preferred time and then press "Send".
To communicate with the Doctor go to send message - select "Other" - type your query in the message box and then press "Send". Note that a patient cannot send messages to a group.
To look for your appointment- go to appointments page. If you want to see previous appointments, then click "More".

Can we directly contact a doctor?
A: Patients/Guardians by default cannot directly contact a doctor unless the doctor allows the same. Kindly get in touch with your doctor to know more.
 
What if I want to get connected with other doctors as well?
A: You can get connected with as many doctors and their appointment groups. You just have to enter the respective codes.

How does MDManager work?
A: You will receive requests for appointment from patients/guardians. When patient requests appointment by sending an appointment message, it is received by both the staff and the doctor. The staff (you) can then enter the name of the actual patient who wants appointment, select the available date, then select the available time slot and then send the appointment confirmation message to the patient. In a token based appointment system, the staff has to enter the token number instead of time. Once this message is sent, the appointment gets updated in the appointments list. First page of appointments list shows today's appointments. For visualising next day's appointment click "more". If you want to see still more appointments, then select the dates and press enter. Once a patient is seen by the Doctor, you can check the small box to the left of the appointment message. You can do the same to cancel an appointment. To reschedule, you can cancel the existing appointment and then give a new appointment date and time/token number.
