CLINICAL PROFILE :

C/O hyperprolactinemia.
S. Prolactin - 515.0 ng/ml.

There is slight deviation of the pituitary stalk to the left. Mild encroachment into the right cavernous sinus cannot be excluded. The cavernous portion of the right internal carotid artery however shows normal flow void signal on all the pulse sequences. The posterior pituitary gland shows normal hyperintense signal on the T1 Weighted images.

Septae are seen within the sphenoid sinus.

The hypothalamus is unremarkable. The optic chiasm is unremarkable.

Incidental note is made of enlarged adenoids.

IMPRESSION :

The MRI features are suggestive of a mass lesion in the anterior pituitary gland as described and may represent a macroadenoma.

A contrast enhanced scan may be worthwhile.
