Name of the Patient : Abc XyzMlmn / F / 29 yrs.
Referred by : Dr. Abc Xyz Apte.
Examination : M.R.I. of the Brain.

CLINICAL PROFILE :

C/O pain on the right side of the face since 6 months.

EXAMINATION :

M.R.I of the brain was performed using the following parameters :

5 mm thick T1 Weighted, proton and T2 Weighted axial images.

3.5 mm thick T1 Weighted coronal images

A limited MR Angiogram was also obtained through the region of interest.

OBSERVATION :

There is no focal area of altered signal intensity in the brain parenchyma.

There is mild prominence of the cerebellar folia bilaterally with mild fullness of the fourth ventricle.

Small vascular twigs are noted at the root exit zone of the seventh and eighth cranial nerve complexes bilaterally and adjacent to the right trigeminal nerve without indenting or deforming the said cranial nerves. No obvious vascular loop is deforming at the root entry zone of the trigeminal nerves on either side.

Both the lateral and the third ventricles are normal. The basal cisternal spaces are unremarkable. There is no shift of the midline structures.

IMPRESSION :

1. Slight prominence of the cerebellar folia bilaterally with mild fullness of the fourth ventricle.

2. Small vascular twigs at the root exit zone of the seventh and eighth cranial nerve complexes bilaterally and adjacent to the right trigeminal nerve without indenting or deforming the said cranial nerves.
