Name of the Patient : Abc XyzTlmn / M / 35 yrs.
Referred by : Dr. Abc Xyzrekh.
Examination : M.R.I. of the Cervical Spine.
CLINICAL PROFILE :
C/O gait imbalance.
EXAMINATION :
M.R.I of the cervical spine was performed using the following parameters :
4 mm thick T1 Weighted and T2 Weighted sagittal images.
5 mm thick T1 Weighted and Fast Scan (T2 *) axial images.
FEW IMAGES SHOW PATIENT MOTION.
OBSERVATION :
There are small posterior disc bulges at the C3-C4, C4-C5, C5-C6 and C6-C7 levels with anterior indentation of the thecal sac.
The cervical intervertebral discs show loss of water content.
Incidental note is made of mild prominence of the cerebellar folia.
The cervical vertebral bodies show normal signal intensity. The joints of Luschka and the visualized pre and paravertebral soft tissues are unremarkable.
The cervical spinal cord reveals normal signal intensity.
The atlanto-axial region and the cervico-medullary junction are unremarkable.
IMPRESSION :
Small posterior disc bulges at the C3-C4, C4-C5, C5-C6 and C6-C7 levels.

The dorsal spine was screened with 5 mm thick T2 Weighted sagittal images and the lumbar spine was screened with 5 mm thick T1 Weighted and T2 Weighted sagittal images.
The visualized dorso-lumbar intervertebral discs show loss of water content. Mild posterior disc bulges are noted at the D11-D12 and D12-L1 levels. The visualized dorsal spinal cord is unremarkable. There is no cord compression.
