Name of the Patient : Abc XyzMukhelmn / F / 11 yrs.
Referred by : Dr. Abc Xyzvani.
Examination : M.R.I. of the Brain.
CLINICAL PROFILE :
Known C/O ALL. Detected on 00.00.0000. Has received Chemotherapy (4 cycles) and Radiotherapy (8 sittings).
C/O slight memory impairment.
M.R.I of the brain was performed using the following parameters :
5 mm thick T1 Weighted, proton and T2 Weighted axial images.
5 mm thick FLAIR coronal images.
5 mm thick T1 Weighted sagittal images.
There are well-defined, hypointense areas (two) in the right frontal deep white matter on the T1 Weighted images which are seen to follow CSF signal intensity characteristics on all the pulse sequences and represent lacunar infarcts.
Both the lateral, third and the fourth ventricles are normal. The basal cisternal spaces are unremarkable. There is no shift of the midline structures. No obvious vascular anomaly is identified on this study.
The MRI features are suggestive of lacunar infarcts in the right frontal deep white matter.
